    Turing an "Offline" profile to an Xbox Live Account    

When doing this, you need to make sure that the most important thing is you want to Keep your Game Save, Achievements, and any ingame content you customized or unlocked. And the least Important thing is your Gamertag, for it may not be available.

Remember: to do this you will need to have an UNREGISTERED email address. ( Not used for any other profile)

Here is a step by step.

If you had purchased DLC or done anything recently with another account and have questions PM me on xbox.com (Golgolhan)

• Log-in to the "offline" profile on the 360 profile. (green border).
  
• While connected to the Live Network, go to My Xbox >  Profile of the "offline" GT (second panel).
• Select "Join Xbox live".
• Select  Yes (this will log you out of your profile).
  
• Wait for the 360 to connect and receive updates.
• Enter an email  address that you have not registered with MS before.
• Enter your password,  twice.
• Choose if you want to  save your password (it's will save it locally on the 360 for easy log-ins).
• Choose your secret question.
• Enter your birth-date.
  
• Accept the ToU.
• Select 'I don't want a gold membership' If this has not been activated before, you will get one month of gold free. This works for the first three profiles.
• Choose your payment method.
  
• Enter your contact info.
• Select your Gamerzone.
• View your info.
• Now,  this is IMPORTANT. The profile you  intended to  go live should pre-populate the field. You can just hit enter and see if it's already taken.
  
• Hit enter, your account will be registering.
  
• Finish off by taking your picture, or not.
